A cast copper-alloy pin of Medieval date , with an oval loop at one end, which has become detached from an annular buckle. Similar buckle pins, with slight variations in the raised moulding, were found in archaeological excavations in London, in contexts dated c.1250-1400 (Egan and Pritchard 1991, pp.115-116, fig. 75, refs. 541, 547 and 549.) Similar buckle pins are recorded on the PAS database: see SUSS-2BB900, SUSS-329437, SOM-1D899E and SOM-29C460.
