A complete, Post Medieval, Lead, mount, possibly for furniture, in the shape of a cornucopiaea, AD.1650-1800. The mount is cast in the form of a conical shell that curls into a spiral at the tapered end. The open end of the shell is filled with fruit. The shell is ribbed. The fruit is simply depicted as small clustered spheres. The front of the object is decorated in cast relief. The front face has been decorated, however the object is very worn and this makes determining the nature of the design difficult.
