An incomplete iron rotary key of Goodall Type 6 and Ward-Perkins type IV, dating between the 14th and 15th centuries. Description: The key has an oblong, solid stem ending in line with the bit and projecting slightly into the oval, nearly kidney shaped bow, which is broken leaving a small gap. The bit extends downwards from the stem when viewed horizontally and features asymmetrical wards and three deep clefts; two on the left hand and one on the right hand side of the bit. A complete Medieval to Post Medieval pewter annular double looped buckle frame. Description: The buckle consists of a sub-circular frame. The frame is bevelled along the outer and inner circumference, creating a slight raised ridge on the frame. The frame has been pulled up. The strap bar has an irregular D-shaped cross section. Measurements: The buckle measures 15.64 mm in diameter, 1.52 mm thick and weighs 1.13g. Discussion: Whitehead dates this type of buckle pg.45, no. 260 to AD 1400 - 1600 and comments that it was likely a shoe buckle.

A fine cast copper-alloy probably Early-Medieval buckle plate, dating to the 8th-9th centuries. Description: The plate is sub-rectangular in plan with concave edges. The front plate drops down to a flange at the attachment end. There are three rivet holes at the frame end of the buckle plate, below the extended arms which would have gripped the buckle frame's pin bar.
