A complete snake-headed penannular bracelet, probably of Roman date (circa AD 43-250). The inner surface is undecorated, and the outer surface is decorated with two moulded ridges around both outer edges. The two terminals represent snake heads, which are shown practically flat with a low relief moulding to suggest the top of the roughly triangular brow. Below the brow are two raised lozengiform eyes with a central nasal ridge running between them. This nasal ridge flares out to form a distinct lozenge-shaped nose. The oval is slightly bent out of shape above the terminals.
