A copper alloy and gemstone/glass fob seal of Post Medieval date probably between 1715-1815. The handle has broadly semi-globular openwork arch made up of moulded scrolls with a suspension loop above, which sits on a moulded collar surrounding the die. The seal has some traces of gold gilt.
The intaglio of the seal is made of yellow/amber coloured gemstone/glass and is rectangular in shape. The intaglio features a crescent moon in the centre with the wording "What is heaven without thee" inscribed around it.
