A medieval (1200-1400) lead pointed-oval seal matrix. On one face it depicts a fleur-de-lis, set within a grooved-line pointed-oval border. Around this is the inscription + S' WILL' FIL' RICI FERIAIN (the seal of William, Son of Richard Feriain). Traces of a further grooved-line border flank the edge of the matrix. To the reverse there is a 5.5x2.0mm triangular projection at the centre-top, behind the cross at the beginning of the inscription. The point of the triangle extends downwards. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval composite buckle, with a frame, integral forked spacer and pin, but missing two sheet plates. The frame is oval in shape, with its external dimensions measuring 19.3mm wide and 15.7mm long (internal dimensions of 14.8mm x 11.5mm). There is a small trainagulr protrusion to the outside edge of the frame; it does not have a notch for the pin. The pin is made of wire and is of a different copper alloy compared to the rest of the buckle. It is incomplete and missing its tip.
