A dispersed Iron Age coin hoard consisting of two gold coins of the Southern British Iron Age (associated with the tribes known as the Atrebates, Regini and Belgae): a gold stater and a gold quarter stater, found c.200m apart. The stater measures 18.9mm in diameter, weighs 5.84g and has a 9 o'clock die axis. Obverse: Die obliterated. Cracks and faint lines occur on the surface of the metal, created by the casting process.
