A complete copper alloy cosmetic mortar, with an end loop for suspension at one end, and a knobbed terminal at the other. The mortar is eliptical or bow shaped with a 13mm diameter suspension loop which is integral and joined to the main shaft of the mortar, with the hole itself being 5mm in diameter. The object appears to be cast. Their is a fine line at the base of terminal knob where it joins the main part of the shaft.
