An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval spout dating from the 15th century, probably from a Ewer. The spout is zoomorphic in form depicting a dog’s head with the spout protruding from the open mouth. The dog has oval eyes and swept back ears. A copper-alloy Medieval scabbard chape dating from the13th-14th century. The chape is oval in plan and is of a tapering and tubular form, constructed from a folded sheet of copper alloy. The front face is decorated with a pierced quatrefoil design with a central circular hole with four additional circular holes at the cardinal points. The chape is pierced where the plates overlap on the reverse for a rivet to attach to the sheaf, the rivet is missing. Dimensions: length: 70.12mm; width: 19.03mm; thickness: 13.80mm; weight: 11.18g

A Post Medeival cast copper alloy mount or plate dating from the 17th century. The plate is decorated on the front with a mounted horse with rider left, arm outstretched holding sword with fallen vanquished solder with musket right trampled by the horses feet. At the top and bottom is a foliate flower. The reverse has four integral sub rectangular attachment points with oval apertures, one of which is broken. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating from AD 1250-1400. The pendant is lozenge-shaped with straight sides with a coat of arms consists of three garbs (wheat sheafs) on one side, the reverse is undecorated. The pendant has a cast integral suspension loop with a circular aperture. A Lower Palaeolithic small, bifacial worked, flint handaxe of cordate type dating c. 400,000-150,000BC. The handaxe was found on in a quarry. There is invasive soft hammer flaking covering both faces. The butt and mid portion of the axe is thick and it then tapers to a rounded point. The cross section is lentoid (pointed oval). The flint has an orange patina. Similar examples include: DOR-CAC6C5, KENT-F9E88B, SUR-85BDCC. Dimensions: length: 112.78mm; width: 75.56mm; thickness: 37.37mm; weight: 285g
