A medieval lead alloy openwork strap end, cast in one piece, probably dating 14th - 15th century. The object is rectangular and has been cast. The remains of organic material (leather) are visible in the interior. The strap end has straight sides and a curved outside edge. The front plate has an openwork panel down the centre of its length decorated with a row of two complete crosses with lozenges on their arms and a partial cross below. A copper alloy dress hook, Read class E, type 3, dating from the early Post-Medieval period, AD 1500 - 1600. It has a moulded, openwork body pierced with eight circular perforations, four on each side of a central, flower or berry motif with heart under, sits within a moulded V shape. At the upper edge of the body is an integral, trapezoidal suspension loop now broken, and at the lower edge a curved hook beneath a raised, transverse ridge. The tag has a dark brown patina. An early post-medieval copper-alloy diamond-shaped foil pilgrim badge of St George and the Dragon. The foil depicts in stamped relief (repoussé) a haloed St George kneeling in prayer facing right towards a cross. St George appears to be kneeling on the dragon. A cast copper alloy toy miniature canon of late Post-Medieval date (17th-19th century). These models were produced as complete working models of their larger counterparts. Cast in one piece, this toy cannon comprises of a elongated bulbous cascable. The vent field has a concave profile with the vent hole having a large aperture. Fragment of a Post Medieval, 15th-17th century, ceramic costrel, green glazed, border ware fabric, AD.1400-1650. The fragment represents the part of the spout and one carry hole of the vessel. The spout is circular and has been applied to the formed vessel body before firing. The outside has the remains of green glaze but this has been heavily abraded. Only one of the lugs is present, it would have been pierced to allow a cord to be passed through to allow the vessel to be carried, the hole is now blocked by a small stone. It has two wires bent in a 'Bourchier knot' or reef knot thereby forming an integral oval attachment-loop; the end of the wire projects and forms the hook. The tag has a dark brown patina. A Post Medieval ivory handle, probably from a knife, dating to AD1701. The handle is sub-circular in section, being at its widest point at the terminal end and tapering towards the blade end. The shoulder of the blade remains, with the whittle tang still embedded within the handle. The terminal end of the handle has been carved with the initials G P with two 8-pointed stars, one in between and one above. The date 1701 is carved beneath the initials.
