A worn silver penny of John (AD 1199-1216), dating to the period AD 1205-1207. Probably Class 5b struck by the moneyer Roberd in Canterbury.  Obverse: Crowned bust facing, pellets in curls with the sceptre dividing the legend. A Post Medieval silver needle dating from the 17th century. The needle is rectangular in cross-section, tapering to a point at the tip. The eye is rectangular and the insised owners initials E B are on one side. Dimensions: length: 56.47mm; width: 3.12mm; weight: 0.87g Similar needles on the database are BM-B500A1 and SWYOR-11F431.

An incomplete Early Medieval Anglo Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch dating from the 6th century. This is a 'florid style' brooch Martin type 4. The brooch has an integral cast top-knob in the form of an inverted human-like face mask; with with staring eyes. The mask is flanked on either side by a pair of birds facing down and inwards.
