A Medieval copper-alloy strap-end dating from AD 1350 to 1450.  This is a composite strap end with forked spacer. The strap end has two outer plates sandwiching a forked spacer. The spacer has a decorative knop in the form of an acorn with a narrowed collar below where it joins to the integral arms of the spacer. Thre are three rivets spaced equidistant along the length ot the strap end and a concave attachment edge.
