A glass Post Medieval, sub circular wine bottle seal with a fouled anchor dating from c AD 1787 - 1850. The only part of the main bottle to remain is the section of the bottle wall attached to the seal itself. The glass is green in colour.

A Post-Medieval copper-alloy Irish 'gun money' halfcrown of James II (AD 1685-1688), dated August 1690. Mint of Dublin.
Dimensions: diameter: 32.61mm; weigh: 17.00g.
These coins were minted during the Williamite War in Ireland (AD 1689-1691) and were to be redeemed for silver coinage after the war. They were made from old cannons, bells and scrap metal. James failed in his attempt and the coins were never exchanged.

A Medieval copper alloy sewing ring, dating to the 15th century. The object was formed of a cast cylindrical tube of copper alloy which tapers from one open end to the other. The thimble is squashed and no longer round. There are 'V' shaped drilled indentations in five bands around the body of the thimble. The metal has a mid-brown to bronze patina.
Casting occurred from the 14th century to AD 1530, when cast thimbles ceased in Nuremberg (Homes, 1988:1). Although casting began again in the 17th century, the thickness of this thimble would suggest that it was an …

A Post Medieval ceramic sherd from a Raeren stoneware bottle dating to AD 1517-1585. The sherd represents part of the body with a large round medallion featuring a male bearded portrait within a plain border, this is then framed with the legend [BI.MICH.BALDEM.ME]NN[ICKEM]. The vessel is by the potter Balden Menneken (AD1517-1585). The vessel has a grey stoneware fabric and is covered on the outside in a brown speckled glaze.
Other examples of Raeren stoneware on the database are SUR-4CFE6A and LON-5FA3F9.

A body sherd fragment from a Roman Gaulish samian ware hemispherical bowl. Form Dragendorff 37 dating from AD 150-200. The sherd has moulded decoration, consisting of a band of ovolo, under which are panels divided by rope twist borders. Within the panels are standing figures and wild beasts. The fragment has a pink fabric and is coated in a red slip on both the inside and outside. The slip is abraded and worn away from the high points of the moulded decoration.
