A very worn and pierced Roman coin, probably an as or dupondius of uncertain 1st to 3rd century AD ruler, dating to the period c.AD 41-260. Unclear reverse type, S [C] in the field. Uncertain mint. The coin has a single circular piercing at one edge of the flan.
