Medieval copper alloy annular brooch, dating to 1100-1400AD. The brooch is circular in form and semi-circular in cross section. It has a pin, wrapped around a recess in the frame, which tapers to a point. The pin instead of siting on the surface has been rotated to the underneath. The top half of the upper surface is decorated with 12 grooves which appear to have been filed into the surface as decoration.

A rectangular copper alloy mount with a hand engraved flower patterm. There are four leaves at the front with four others behind. Originally there were four rivets holding the item in place, now one is the there, one is totally missing,a third one is visible both on front and back, and the fourth can only be seen from the reverse. On the front this fourth one has been engraved and totally hidden. The edges are damaged, with one rounded and one partially curve over.

A lead spindle whorl of uncertain date, though probably belonging to the medieval or post-medieval period, c.1066-1700). It has one flat surface 24.6mm in diameter and a convex sloping wall. The central hole is 7.5mm.. The whorl has a well developed white patina with some later damage.

A late Iron Age silver unit, North Eastern type attributed to the Corieltavi. The coin is convex and has on the front traces of a boar. On the reverse side the concave, a horse galloping to the right. 14.28mm in diameter. Date approximately 50 BC to 20 BC. Possibly ABC 1803 'South Ferriby Plain' type.

A complete copper alloy casket key from the Medieval period. The key is small with an oval cross section stem. The bow extends from the stem and is sub-circular in plan with a cast central hole. The opposite end of the stem has a centrally drilled hole and a single warded bit. The key has an olive green patina. overall the key is 33.6mm long, 3.3mm thick, the bow is 14.75mm in diameter, the stem is 6.32mm at its widest point. The key weighs 5.7g.

A damaged, (squashed, lead spindle whorl of Medieval date (AD 1200-1550). The object is circular and in profile is sub bi-convex, there is a single, central circular perforation running through running through the object.The perforation was extended either end by a raised lip. A late Post Medieval to Modern lead alloy kosher seal. The seal is roughly circular and has a slot running through it from top to bottom, cord would be run around the object then through the slot and it which would have been squeezed closed to attach it to the cord. One face has a raised Star of David (open interlocked equilateral triangles forming a six pointed star), the other the number 220. Incomplete cast copper alloy spectacle buckle frame. The buckle has a flat base and a convex profile. Only one half and the pin remains, the second loop only has stubs left. The strap bar has a rounded projecting knop at each end. As it narrows it appears to wrap over the frame, having the effect of pulling in the 'waist'. The outer edge of the frame is decoratively moulded with a large circular protrusions, incised with a groove for the pin. The copper-alloy pin is complete and wraps around the strap bar. A complete copper-alloy Medieval single loop buckle with integral, forked spacers and buckle plate dating to c.1350-1450 (Whitehead 1996, p36 and p37 ). The object is a composite buckle with the plate being formed of a single sheet of copper alloy plate folded and secured to the internal forked spacer by a single rivet at the far end. The pin remains and is bent at 45 deg. The D shaped loop has a bevelled surface on the front of it and the loop is a very shallow hemisphere in cross-section. Cast rectangular single looped buckle with a widened and bevelled outer edge with three horizontally incised grooves to serve as a pin rest, a further groove at either end, and an external ridge or stop on its upper and lower edges. A complete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1575 - 1700. The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with moulded decoration on the loops. The outer edge of the rectangularbuckle bears six lobed knops. Lobed protrusions also project from either end of the strap bar. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 23.2mm long, 18.9mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.92, no.577 and is dated to circa AD 1575 - 1700. There is also a slightly larger example at YORYM-FD6902.

An incomplete, cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period. The buckle is single looped, 'D'-shaped in section, missing the strap bar and broadly rectangular in plan. The centre has five incised lines with the middle deeper for a pin rest. The pin is missing and the buckle has a pale green patina. Whitehead (2003, pg. 27) illustrates a similar buckle, e.g. 136, which he dates to between 1350-1450 AD.

A Medieval copper alloy spherical strap end. It is made from a singular piece of copper alloy neatly folded over at the terminal. There are four crudely shaped rivets, one at the open end, one in the middle of the rectangular section and two near the closed end. A repeated pattern of punch marks running along the sides of the top plate decorate the surface. There appears to be the remains of the leather the strap end was attached to, between the plates.
