Incomplete cast copper alloy spectacle buckle frame. The buckle has a flat base and a convex profile. Only one half and the pin remains, the second loop only has stubs left. The strap bar has a rounded projecting knop at each end. As it narrows it appears to wrap over the frame, having the effect of pulling in the 'waist'. The outer edge of the frame is decoratively moulded with a large circular protrusions, incised with a groove for the pin. The copper-alloy pin is complete and wraps around the strap bar. A complete copper-alloy Medieval single loop buckle with integral, forked spacers and buckle plate dating to c.1350-1450 (Whitehead 1996, p36 and p37 ). The object is a composite buckle with the plate being formed of a single sheet of copper alloy plate folded and secured to the internal forked spacer by a single rivet at the far end. The pin remains and is bent at 45 deg. The D shaped loop has a bevelled surface on the front of it and the loop is a very shallow hemisphere in cross-section. A complete and well preserved late Medieval copper alloy buckle. Cast rectangular single looped buckle with a widened and bevelled outer edge with three horizontally incised grooves to serve as a pin rest, a further groove at either end, and an external ridge or stop on its upper and lower edges. The pin remains. A complete version of NLM-E9EE74.

A complete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1575 - 1700. The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with moulded decoration on the loops. The outer edge of the rectangularbuckle bears six lobed knops. Lobed protrusions also project from either end of the strap bar. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 23.2mm long, 18.9mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.92, no.577 and is dated to circa AD 1575 - 1700. There is also a slightly larger example at YORYM-FD6902.

An incomplete, cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period. The buckle is single looped, 'D'-shaped in section, missing the strap bar and broadly rectangular in plan. The centre has five incised lines with the middle deeper for a pin rest. The pin is missing and the buckle has a pale green patina. Whitehead (2003, pg. 27) illustrates a similar buckle, e.g. 136, which he dates to between 1350-1450 AD.

A Medieval copper alloy spherical strap end. It is made from a singular piece of copper alloy neatly folded over at the terminal. There are four crudely shaped rivets, one at the open end, one in the middle of the rectangular section and two near the closed end. A repeated pattern of punch marks running along the sides of the top plate decorate the surface. There appears to be the remains of the leather the strap end was attached to, between the plates.

A Medieval copper-alloy strap-end (c. 1350-c. 1400). The strap-end is formed of two sheet copper-alloy plates that are sub-rectangular in plan. There is no spacer between the plates and the plates are riveted together. Both plates have the same thickness of about 0.46mm. The closed terminal end is rounded in plan and has a small pointed knop. At the open attachment end the width is 12.0mm. An incomplete and worn Late Iron Age or Early Roman copper alloy La Tene III type one-piece brooch, Nauheim derivative​. The brooch body is triangular in plan and flat in section, and has a slightly arched profile similar to many brooches of this type. The body tapers into a narrow undecorated foot. The brooch does not seem to be decorated and has been bent as some time. The brooch currently measures 29.1mm in length and weighs 1.87g. There is a clear olive green patina covering the surface. An almost complete copper-alloy stirrup strap-mount of the late early-medieval period, dating from c. AD 1000 - AD 1100. It finds its closest parallels in Williams's Class A, Type 1 mounts, with typical pentagonal form and addorsed (back to back) beasts on the front face, and can be classified as such (Williams 1997, pp. 26-34, figs 19 - 23). A complete copper alloy cheekpiece from a late Anglo Saxon bridle bit, dating circa 1000 to 1100. The cheekpiece is broadly triangular in form, having a rectangular loop at the top, and a zoomorphic, long tapering projection to either side below. Only one animal head survives. The outline is shown by the moulded perimeter of the frame, and shows a beast in profile, looking outwards. The beast has a large comma shaped ear or horn, and a slender eye and snout enhanced by engraving. A possible front claw is also shown extending inwards from the base of the frame.
