A flint implement, possibly a Mesolithic scraper. It consists of a sub triangular lump of opaque grey flint with a pale orange brown patina. It may be a natural flake. On the ventral side a central flake has been removed which shows a point of percussion and the suggestion of two faint concentric ripples.Whichever way up the implement is held, between thumb and forefinger, the thumb naturally fits the depression thus formed.
