A Medieval hammered silver groat of Henry VI of the first reign, annulet issue with the young bust. Mint of Calais. Dates to between 1422 and 1430 AD.
The diameter is 24mm and the weight 3.00g.
Obverse inscription is +hENRIC DI GRA REX AnGL Z FRAnC and the reverse inner inscription is VIL/LA/CALI/SIS and the outer +POSVI/DEVm A/DIVTOR/E mEVm. The coin has been clipped.

Medieval lead alloy, or lead, pilgrim badge. It consists of a the top left corner of a rectangular plaque and is missing the stitching ring that would have projected outwards from the plaque. It originally depicted SS Peter and Paul within a border inscribed [SIGNA APOSTOLORVM PET]RIETP AVLI +. The A has a hole pierced in it, an attempt at a repair after the sewing loop broke off. The fragment depicts the top half of St Paul holding a sword symbolising his martyrdom by beheading. Dates to between c1200 and c1400 AD.
