A fragment of a Roman trumpet brooch of Bayley and Butcher 2000, Group B/C. It consists of a fragment of the bow. The head, lower bow and catchplate are missing. The bow is decorated at the upper section by three moulded horizontal ribs. The reverse of the bow is flat apart from the broadly triangular in profile remains of the catchplate. The object has a dark green coloured patina across all surfaces. The fragment measures 39.2 mm in length, 6.8 mm in width, 6.4 mm in thickness and weighs 4.7 grams.

A Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Chapter 3, Part 3, Group 4b, c.f. Mackreth Type 4b, Plate 46, AD c. 75-400. The axis bar and spring mechanism are almost complete, only the length of spring that passes above the coil and is held in place by a perforated lug is missing. The pin is also missing. The wings are cylindrical in plan with wing / end caps intact and the axis bar is visible as it has pierced the wing caps. An incomplete copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type CD PH 4. i2 type of Roman date (AD 120-240). The axis bar and spring mechanism are missing, along with the pin and catchplate. The wings are semi-cylindrical in plan with wing / end caps intact and the remains of the axis bar that have pierced the wing caps. A copper alloy pin with zoomorphic terminal dating from the Early Medieval period, circa AD 700-800. The pin is complete, with a long tapering shaft with a pierced terminal, possibly in the form of a boar or bear with a rounded ear and long pointed snout.
