A possible Early Roman copper-alloy pin from a buckle dating to circa AD 43-100. The object consists of a central stem with from which there are two upward curving arms terminating with a zoomorphic head. The central stem would presumably once have been perforated at the upper terminal however this detail is now lost. The head terminals face the central stem and have open mouths. A copper alloy probable Roman ear-ring ring, dating to the period circa AD 43-400. The object is circular and forms an incomplete hoop which has a sub-oval cross-section. The terminals are narrowed and pointed. The ends almost meet and are slightly angled away from each other. The object has a mid-brown coloured patina across all surfaces with a small trace of gilding. A worn and corroded copper-alloy clapper bell of possible Roman or Early Medieval date (c. AD 43-1100). The bell is incomplete as the clapper is missing. th eobject is conical in form with sides that flare out from the apex. At the upper edge is an intergral suspension loop that has a circular perforation. The suspension loop is angular and broadly lozenge shaped in form. An incomplete copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type, of Roman date (AD 80-400). The axis bar and spring mechanism appear intact although they are heavily corroded. A fragment of a Roman trumpet brooch of Bayley and Butcher 2000, Group B/C. It consists of a fragment of the bow. The head, lower bow and catchplate are missing. The bow is decorated at the upper section by three moulded horizontal ribs. The reverse of the bow is flat apart from the broadly triangular in profile remains of the catchplate. The object has a dark green coloured patina across all surfaces. The fragment measures 39.2 mm in length, 6.8 mm in width, 6.4 mm in thickness and weighs 4.7 grams.
