Two lead alloy bag seals dating from the Post-medieval or early Modern period, circa AD 1700-1900.
One seal depicts a cow and calf on the front and a monograph on the reverse. It measures 13.8 mm in length, 13 mm in width, 2.6 mm in thickness and weighs 3.2 grams. There are parallels recorded on the PAS database; NMS-F725B4 was discovered in Norfolk.
The other is slightly worn but appears to have the same design. It measures 18.1 mm in length, 12.6 mm in width, 8.6 mm in thickness and weighs 4 grams.

Description: A Post-Medieval gold posy ring, inscribed in italic script with In thee I find content of mind on the inside of the hoop, this is followed by a makers mark, possibly J or IM. In cross-section, the hoop is D-shaped with a bevelled internal edge. The outside of the hoop is convex.
Dimensions: The finger ring measures 22.9 mm in dimeter, 4.1 mm in thickness and weighs 7.3 grams.
