An incomplete copper alloy Late Iron Age/ Early Roman simple one-piece or Nauheim derivative type brooch dating to circa BC 100-AD 43 The pin is missing and some of the curls of the spring along with the catchplate. The head consists of two spring coils extending into the cord above, it is possibly missing two further coils that would have extended into the pin on the other side of the head.
