An incomplete, cast, copper-alloy Roman Bow Brooch dating to the 1st Century AD. Description: At the head of the brooch, the rolled tubular wings that would have held the pin axis bar, are complete. The head of the brooch is slightly waisted above a horizontal moulded band. The bow appears plain and is broken in half approximately one third down its length. Measurements: Length: 47.8mm; width: 17.2mm; weight: 4.2g.
