A copper alloy sheet metal strap end. It is constructed of two plates, a flat plate at the rear and a slightly convex plate with chamfered edges at the front. The two halves are joined by small, circular sectioned copper alloy rivets, Two towards the top edge, and one rivet and one rivet hole towards the bottom. The top two are set closer together than the bottom two. There are traces of incised decoration on the front plate, possibly a large letter A.
