An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman T shape brooch dating to 1st or 2nd century AD. The item consists of the head of the brooch, with just one cylindrical wing intact, the other broken away at an early date leaving about one third in place. In addition there is a short section of the bow emanating horizontally from the head then falling away downwards at a sharp angle of almost 90 degrees. All else is missing. A complete cast copper alloy medieval sewing thimble dating to AD 1400 - 1550. It is domed, and has drilled pits in a single spiral. At the base is a circumferential groove. It is 20.12mm in height, 20.00mm in diameter at the base and weighs 6.94g. A complete copper alloy mount in the form of a human head of medieval date AD 1300-1500. It is 15.15mm in length and 12.00mm in width. It has a convex face with projecting sub triangular snub nose and short straight inscribed lines to indicate eyes and cheeks and mouth. Seven radiating mouldings above the forehead apparently represent hair, with two of these broken off short from an early date. A complete copper alloy farthing trade token, probably dating to 17th century AD. Obverse shows a central shield with the Mercer's Maiden, the coat of arms and symbol of the Mercer's Company City of London, with HENRY LAMBERT [..] around the edge. The reverse shows L above HS with three rosettes surrounding, all within a border and probably CHIPPENHAM MERCER around the edge. It is 15.99mm in diameter and weighs 0.92g.

An incomplete copper alloy post medieval Irish halfpenny of George II, (1727-1760). Reverse: HIBERNIA with crowned harp. Obverse: GEORGIUS II REX; laureate bust left. An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval single single loop D shape buckle, dating to AD 1250 - 1400. The pin is in place. There are moulded knops at the ends of the of the hoop and a very much narrowed and off set strap bar. There is a thickened section at the middle of the strap bar. The hoop has a significantly expanded outer edge (6.07mm thick) and is an oval shape in section. It is 29.82mm in length, 19.00mm in width (strap bar to outer edge of hoop) and weighs 6.22g.

A complete modern gilt cast copper alloy military button, 38th Foot, (Staffordshire regiment), probably post AD1860. It is circular in plan and domed in section, made in two parts, with a soldered attachment loop on the reverse. The front of the button shows the royal crown, the number 38 with the crossed rope or knot of this regiment. On the reverse it is stamped Jennens and Co London with the Prince of Wales feathers. An incomplete copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle, one loop is missing. The buckle has pointed ends, at either end of the strap bar there are knops, the outside edge is bevelled. the incomplete iron pin partially survives. Buckles of this type date to c.1570-1700. This buckle is identical in style to No.513 in Whitehead (2003) It is 22.54mm in length (strap bar to outer edge of frame), 21.68mm in width and weighs 3.93g.The outer part of the frame is 8.33mm to the point of the traingle.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman flat and plain edged enamelled disc brooch, dating to the period AD 80-250. This is 21.46mm in length and 16.10mm in width. It weighs 2.25g. Part of the rim, the catchplate's curl and the pin are missing. A central roundel is set within a sexfoil with cream colour enamel inlay. In turn this s surrounded by a border which incorporates circular finials to each of the six 'petals'. The outer area, largely missing, has a dark blue inlay. Cf. Hattatt 2007 p.344 no.518. An example of a similar brooch can be seen on the database: WILT-4EA552.
