An incomplete copper alloy post medieval Irish halfpenny of George II, (1727-1760). Reverse: HIBERNIA with crowned harp. Obverse: GEORGIUS II REX; laureate bust left. Probably Young Head dating to AD1736 - 1755 Type II. See Spink 6606.
The coin appears to have been cut, removing an arc of the circumference, below the bust (obverse) and above the crown (reverse).
