An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Scandinavian stirrup strap-mount dating to the late Early Medieval period, c. 1000-1100 AD.
The body of the mount is broadly trapezoidal in plan with a convex front and slightly dished rear face. The upper edge of the mount demonstrates a broken centrally-perforated projecting lobe, below which the main body of the mount takes the form of a forward-facing anthropomorphic mask, achieved through moulded decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy probable lock-pin of Roman date.
The pin survives as a flat, circular disc, decorated with a circumferential groove. From the upper surface of the disc there extends the remains of a rectangular lug which appears to be broken close to the main body. From the underside of the disc, there extends a convex base. The base is decorated with a circumferential rib and a central raised cicular moulding.
The pin measures 17mm in length and a maximum of 22mm in diameter at the base. It weighs 23.92g.

A fragment of a Post Medieval, copper-alloy pipe tamper in the form of two clay pipes on a rack. The tamper has a hole at the rack end which would have retained a separate needle.

A very worn probable early High Medieval copper-alloy strap end. The strap end is formed from a pointed terminal and is split at one end. On the body is a very worn panel of decoration, now indistinct possibly picking out zoomorphic elements.. The strap end has an undamaged recess at the rear with remains of iron rivet still in place.

A small incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a slot in the reverse with remains of an iron pin and would have been secured over the lower section of the stirrup arm. The stirrup terminal has a zoomorphic decoration with eyes, ears and snout clearly in a canine design. Rectangular to triangular-sectioned arm extends behind head, decorated with three raised ribs. The terminal is broken a short distance behind this.
