A fragment of a ceramic vessel of Post-Medieval date. The fragment is broadly trapezoidal in plan, and S shaped in profile. It is dark brown in colour, and has a shiny glaze applied to the outer face. Small, occasional white inclusions are present in the fabric. Decoration comprises two large circles stamped into the fabric on raised areas, as well as incised lines radiating form the outer edge of the circles. A fragment of a Roman samian ware ceramic vessel, datign to the period c.AD 43 to 260. The fragment is broadly trapezoidal in plan, with a slightly curved profile and is from the body of a vessel. The fabric is orange in colour, and has occaisonal small white inclusions. It is coated in a red slip. Decoration is stamped and comprises a leaf with a rounded double border. Other indiscernable decoration is present above this. The sherd measures 40.11mm in length, 32.08mm in width, 7.36mm in thickness and weighs 11.48g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Chatelaine, dating from the Roman period c. AD 100 - 200. The object comprises a looped terminal, circular in cross-section, which attaches to a rectangular plate. This plate is rectangular in cross-section, and is decorated with 5 tesellated enamel triangles. An incomplete copper-alloy object of uncertain date. The object comprises a circular cross-sectioned shaft, which birfuractes at one terminal to form two semicircular cross-sectioned arms. The other end of the shaft expands to form a knop, which is decorated with three moulded bands. The knop narrows to a neck before expanding again to form a flat-topped circular terminal. A copper alloy finger ring of probable medieval to post medieval date (c.AD 1400-1700). The ring is D shaped in cross section, and is formed into a simple hoop. Decoration is present in the form of a moulded triangle, which constitutes the bezel. Six moulded chevrons decorate the band to either side of the bezel, each set pointing away from it towards the reverse of the hoop. The inner side of the hoop is undecorated. A complete copper alloy Medieval harness fitting, dating to the period c.AD 1000-1200.The fitting is broadly lenticular in plan, with a convex body. A narrowed neck, semicircular in cross-section, projects from one end, curves upwards slightly, and terminates in a zoomorphic head. A complete copper alloy casket key of medieval date (c.AD 1150-1450). The key comprises a circular loop, from which an oval cross-sectioned bow extends. A rectangular cross-sectioned bit projects at 90 degrees from the bow. This narrows to a neck, and then expands out again. The bow appears to be hollow at the terminal with the bit. The key measures 37.79mm in length, 12.27mm in width, 4.69mm in thickness and weighs 5.93g.
