Fragment of the proximal end (partial butt and constriction for the blade) of a Group III rapier (Burgess,C. Tertiary, soft hammer struck flake, of unpatinated dark grey flint with two white and buff coarse inclusions. One side of the distal end is recently broken at 45 degrees to the orientation of the flake, with steep retouch to either side of the proximal end, one side is restricted to a broad notch c. 13 mm across, the other edge is straightened by retouch (unusually) on the bulbar side from the platform to almost half-way where upon it becomes irregular towards the break.

Late Bronze Age razor, of Piggott (1946) class 1, Leaf-shaped blade of very thin sub-lenticular section with a very slight mid-rib and chamfer for the cutting edges, a sub-rectangular sectioned shank or handle terminates in a flattened spatula. All surfaces appear to be hammered after casting (work hardening?) and smoothly finished, also cf. Watson, P.J. Catalogue of British and European Metalwork in Birmingham City Museums 1993 BAR British Series: 233, p. 10, no.76, although this example has a hooked tang.

Over half of a Neolithic ground and polished axe, of light and dark banded and mottled flint, the coarse inclusions are an off-white colour. The butt has been broken transversely in antiquity, the cutting edge is asymmetrical and highly polished, giving a sheen that fades into the rest of the axe. One large flake has been removed recently to the cutting edge, revealing the flint was indeed brown to begin with.

Two semi-hard hammer struck flakes, the longer of the two is in unpatinated dark grey flint and is shallowly notched to one lateral edge at the midpoint (51 x 17 x 8.5 mm). The other is of mottled brown and grey slightly patinated flint, also semi-hard hammer struck from an opposed, or multi-platform core with previous flake removals in opposition to each other, both ends of the flake retain platforms. Possible fine use-wear as well as recent damage to the lateral edge with the thinnest angle (43.5 x 21 x 7 mm). Both pieces are Late Prehistoric: Neolithic to Bronze Age.

Almost complete leaf-shaped arrowhead of Green's (1980) type 3A, closely matching the outline of example h. It was of dark brown flint (as seen in the small recently damaged areas of the edges and, more so, to the butt), now patinated mottled light grey and white. Late Upper (final) Palaeolithic semi-hard hammer struck blade with a faceted and isolated platform and only a slight bulge to the bulb of percussion, and a tiny bulbar scar, now white and light grey patinated, with spotty iron stains to both faces. The distal end is finely and invasively retouched to form the scraping edge, and both lateral edges are "bruised" or use-worn. Recent damage to parts of the edges reveal the original colour of the flint was black. 10,000 to 12,000 BC.

Possible Late (final) Upper Palaeolithic secondary end scraper, hard hammer struck with three impact points to the faceted platform, of differentially patinated black flint, the dorsal face has slight pale patination mostly towards the distal end. The ventral face is patinated light grey, almost white, both faces have spotty iron stains. The extant cortex to the dorsal face is thin and weathered and this edge is recently damaged from platform to the steep retouch of the scraping edge, a few other recently damaged areas along the edges are evident from their lack of patination.

Hard hammer struck flake, essentially tertiary, with only a small piece of cortex extant to the distal end of the dorsal face, this face is covered with the overlapping flake scars, semi-centripetally knapped and likely to have been struck from a biface rough-out (re-used debitage from an axe) or from a specially prepared core, i.e. of Levalloisian tradition. One edge is irregularly retouched and damaged, the other has four steeply retouched notches of ascending size: one at c. 2 mm, next c. 5 mm, next c. 8 mm, and the largest c. 8.5 mm but slightly deeper.
