Secondary, hard hammer struck blade-like flake, with a prepared platform from a ground and polished axe, the dorsal face has three previous flake scars and the distal end retains the ground surface of the (presumably) broken axe this flake was struck from. It is of mottled light grey flint with faint orange patination, both lateral edges are irregularly damaged or use worn. Neolithic, 4,000 to 2,351 BC.

Proximal end of a Late (Final) Upper Palaeolithic long blade:- of pale patinated banded and mottled flint, with the dorsal face stained a little more pale brown than the ventral face. The thin platform is without facets and is plain, the edge of the platform is faintly abraded, the striations of which are across the platform from edge to edge. The blade is broken transversely in antiquity, the break is patinated similarly to the rest of the flint. The dorsal face carries three main previous flake scars, struck from the same direction as the blade itself, there is, just above the break…

Two small flakes, one secondary, hard hammer struck and unpatinated light and dark grey flint, with a "stack" of short hinge and step fractures to the dorsal face on the platform, clearly debitage from trying to overcome a stubborn flake removal. 22 x 24 x 4mm. The other is tertiary, hard hammer struck and also unpatinated mottled grey flint. No retouch noted. 29 x 26 x 5 mm. Both Late Prehistoric.

Primary, hard hammer struck flake with very thin, worn cortex to the dorsal face, the distal end is steeply retouched to form the scraping edge, the retouch extendends towards the proximal end as light, irregular removals to blunt these edges. The flint is a glossy brown/grey and is unpatinated, the ventral face shows a large pale grey inclusion with some slight mottling around the edges and some faint iron stains. Neolithic, 4,000 to 2,351 BC.
