A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of the Roman period, dating from the 2nd to 4th century AD. The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to that of local (unsourced) greyware, , consistent with 2nd to 4th Century AD dating. The rim type is that of an everted type, probably consistent with a storage bowl or jar. It is triangular in plane and inverted L shape in section. The exterior colour is black, with the interior and core is a light brown in colour. The fabric has fine quartz inclusions. The rim would have been around 14 cm in diameter, and around 12.5 %…
