Similar as Mitchiner (1988) no. 1505 but with reverse legend as no. 1496, as SF-61ECCC. Measurements: 25.03mm in diameter, 1.07mm thick and 1.93g in weight.

A worn and corroded Post Medieval 'Rose/Orb' Jetton, c. late 16th-c. early 17th century AD. Of 'GOTT ALLEIN' type, struck by Hans Krauwinckel II (fl. 1586-1635 AD) at Nuremberg (Mitchiner 1528 var.). The reverse legend reads: GOTT ALLEIN DIE [EERE SIE], which means 'To God Alone the Glory'. Measurements: 21.42mm in diameter, 0.72mm thick and 1.04g in weight. Discussion: The precise reverse legend is not noted in the main reference work but is comparable with a small group of jettons recorded on this database: SF-65B2D1, LON-5E4F85, PUBLIC-84DBE1 and HAMP-3A7C23
