PIETAS AVGG reverse type depicting Pietas veiled and draped, standing left dropping incense onto an altar and holding box. Prototype of the mint of Rome, cf. RIC IV.1, p.170 no. 572. The base (copper-alloy?) core of the coin is visible in the old breaks. Measurements: 16.2mm long, 14.84 wide, 1.73mm thick. 1.07 in weight.
