A complete medieval or post-medieval hammered or cast copper-alloy book clasp. The clasp is flat and roughly rectangular narrowing from a wide attatchment end toward the hook end. The object is bent to a 90 degree angle twice along its length fom post depositional damage. At the hook end of the object there is a pair of rectangular lugs immediately behind the blunt rectangular hook which is folded underneath. A near complete worn Post-Medieval leather shoe. Description: It is of welt construction, where a strip of leather (welt) is stitched to an upper and insole of the shoe. The sole is then attached to it. The shoe has a rounded toe and the two piece upper is plain in design. There are stitch holes in the sole and welt. The sole remains attached to the insole and in fact looks like it was attached prior to the addition of the welt. Description: The button is biconvex and hollow, with a central boss and ovoid openwork decoration on the front and oval openwork decoration on the back. A copper alloy quillon or crossguard for a dagger or stilleto of early post-medieval date. Object consists of a thin flat faced bar 31.74mm long 4.22mm high 1.83mm thick, which widens towards the centre with an oval hole through it. The bar has a large triangular shaped piece of decoration resembling either feathers or a scallop shell project away from the bar, 9.39mm where it joins the bar, 22.80mm wide at the bottom, 15.64mm high and 3.5mm thick. The token is a thick disc, one side of which has raised crossed Y shapes or 'framework design' of powell type 13, while other has 5 raised lines segmenting section which Powell would classify as type 3. A post-medieval cast copper alloy fitting in the form of a stylised fish or dolphin. The dolphin has an arched back and a curving, forked tail and remains of a small hook likely for fitting the object to a larger whole projecting just past the tail.
