A worn enamelled copper-alloy heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval date, c. AD 1270-1400.
Description: The pendant is of quatrefoil / quatrelobed form with an angular knops between each lobe. Taking up much of the centre is a shield of arms displaying the royal arms of England consisting of three lions on a field of red (heraldically:Gules, three lions passant guardant). The shield is in the common 'heater' form with angular top corners. Decoration in the lobes is uncertain due to wear. At the apex of the pendant the suspension loop remains.

A large rim sherd of a wheel thrown Roman mortaria, possibly in a Oxford white-ware fabric. Dating to c. AD 250 - c. AD 300.
Description: The fabric of the mortaria is mostly a cream-white but with a very light pale pinky-orange hue particularly on the inner surface. Very sparse very small poorly sorted quartz inclusions accompanied by some iron stained red inclusions of medium sized. On the upper internal surface the fabric has poorly sorted mixed trituration grit of mostly rounded translucent or transparent quartz in pink, black, white or brown. Wheel-thrown.

Description: It is of welt construction, where a strip of leather (welt) is stitched to an upper and insole of the shoe. The sole is then attached to it. The shoe has a rounded toe and the two piece upper is plain in design. There are stitch holes in the sole and welt. The sole remains attached to the insole and in fact looks like it was attached prior to the addition of the welt. A cast heavily worn incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy belt fitting, dating to c.1550-1625AD.
Description: The object is an S-shaped belt catch with a sub rectangular cross section. It has one snake head terminal at the complete end, although the now missing one would have been the same. It has a double incised band on its upper surface splitting each end in half. The remaing loop has been preferentially worn, the other loop has broken off at almost the same point. Its side view it is roughly pointed oval. In plan, the butt end is much narrower than the cutting edge. It has been knapped overall. A near complete 17th century copper alloy mount. The mount is triangular in plan with stepped knop at the top and a rounded knop at the bottom. The bottom knop is in two stepped elements divided from each other by a transverse groove and from the rest of the object by a transverse ridge. A complete Medieval silver 'sovereign'-type penny of Henry VII (1485-1509), minted at York under Archbishop Thomas Rotherham, 1485-1500, North type 1729 (North 1991, 103). Clipped around and particularly worn around the circumference, obsucring enitrety of legend.

A silver Irish shilling of James I (AD 1603 - 1626). Second coinage, AD c.1604-1607, crowned harp reverse with rose mintmark. As Seaby, 1984: no. 6515-16. Bust and reverse designs heavily worn and near indistinguishable, clipping and wear obscures much fo the legend.
