An incomplete cast copper-alloy Iron Age La Tene III style (Nauheim derivative) brooch dating to the first century AD. Description: The brooch is of one piece construction consisting, although only the bow and a small section of the catch plate remains. At the head end a small hook remains of twisted bilateral spring. This extends to the circular cross-sectioned bow and beneath this at the foot end is a flattened sub-trapezoidal stub of the catch plate. The entire object has a light grey-brown colour. Measurements: 34.71mm in length, 3.7mm wide, 8.94mm high and 1.17g in weight.

It is flat but lightly curved and appears to have been made this way rather than due to damage. A coarse prehistoric ceramic vessel fragment. Fabric is rough with abundant pits for missing poorly sorted inclusions, mostly subrounded-rounded likely indicating plant or similar temper, also in the fabric are spares subangular - subrounded small shell inclusions. The fabric has a highly oxidised internally leaving it light grey, the outer fabric is less oxidised with patches of light brown orange visible but moslty dark grey-brown. Pot has no striations and is uneven suggesting it has been hand made. Measurments: 31.87mm high, 27.56mm wide, 9.47mm thick and 8.36g in weight.

An incomplete cast gold and gemstone finger ring of medieval date (c.1200-1400). Description: The ring is formed of a rimmed, sub-oval dish-shaped bezel with four clawed collets which hold a pale blue gemstone. The visible sides of the bezel consist of a convex lower half and a concave upper half which forms a horizontal rim running along the exterior edge of the bezel. Description: The mace head is oval in plan and has a central perforation from one side to the other. This perforation is the typical hour glass shape. A modified Roman Republican silver denarius issued around the late third to early second century BC. The type cannot be identified as it has been modified by tooling. The tooled legend COCLES occurs in a restitution type (re-issue) under Trajan (AD 98-117, RIC 767-8) but there is no Roman Republican precedent for this coin (though modern forgeries have been recorded).
