A coarse flint scraper likely dating to the late Bronze Age or Iron age c.1000BC - 0BC .
Description: The scraper was produced from a crusdely struck primary flake (indicated by the substantial cortex remaining on the dorsal face), roughly triangular in plan The flaking has left substantially conchoidal ripples on both sides of the flint and a substantial although heavily irregular bulb of percussion on the ventral face, indicating hard hammer (stone on stone rather than antler, bone or padded stone) technology was used in its production. The retouch is formed from short scaled sem…

A coarse flint scraper likely dating to the late Bronze Age or Iron age c.1000BC - 0BC .
Description: The scraper was produced from a broken ovoid secondary flake (indicated by the substantial cortex remaining on the dorsal face) from a larger possibly naturally shattered flint (indicated by the multiple step and pitted like fractures on the top of the ventral side). The flaking has left substantially conchoidal ripples on both sides of the flint and a substantial bulb of percussion on the ventral face, indicating hard hammer (stone on stone rather than antler, bone or padded stone…

A probable flint hollow scraper of the Neolithic or Bronze Age date c 4000-1000BC.

The sraping edge is short and concave creating a hollow scraping edge formed from invasive scaled semi-abrupt retouch. The flint is mottled mid to light grey with no cortex remaining.
Measurements: 28.94mm long, 24.38mm wide, 8.87mm thick and 6.03g in weight.
