An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval (c.AD 1250-1400) D-shaped buckle with narrowed offset strap bar. Description: The buckle is small, with thin bars of which the strap bar is offset. At the opposite end of the frame the loop is swollen with four incised grooves creating ribbed decoration. The decoration wraps the outside edge of the frame. The buckle pin is incomplete but formed from wire wrapped round the bar.. The back of the buckle is flat. The colour of the buckle is a mid grey-green and it is mostly in good condition with only minimal warping. Measurement: 19.05mm long…

A copper-alloy core, possibly from a plated gold Iron Age stater of unclear type, perhaps dating to the period c.60-20 BC. Obverse type is illegible or blank. Reverse type possibly depicting a stylised horse? Small areas of the gold plating remain visible on both faces, however the original type is unclear. Measurements: 15.59mm in diameter, 3.74mm thick and 3.62g in weight.
