An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age unit, probably of the Kent or North Thames Region / Cantiaci, dating to the period c.60-20 BC. Obverse type is unclear, possible animal right? Reverse: Horse right with large hooves, spurs on hind legs, front legs sharply bent, ring in front. The precise type for this coin is unclear in part due to the preservation of the coin. It is likely to belong in the Cantiaci and related series, probably similar to ABC nos. 258, 288 or alternatively nos. 2312-2318. Measurements: 12.27mm in diameter, 2mm thick and 0.98g in weight.
