Legend: *+*AVE mARIA[.]GRACIA. Reverse: Triple stranded long cross fleuretty within double tressure of four arches, uncertain decoration on cusps and Inscription in spandrels and *A* -*m*-*[]*-*O*- m in the external spandrels. A near complete copper-alloy casket key, probably of Medieval date (AD 1100 - 1500). Description: The key is small with a projecting stem ovate in cross-section. the stem however has been worn down to the point it terminates prior to the outer section of the bit. A flat bit projects from the underside of the stem at 90 degrees and has one rounded cleft in its outermost edge and stepped outer ward. A roughly circular bow loop forms the upper terminal. A disarticulate cast copper-alloy loop from a late Medieval, early post Medieval (c. AD1450-1650) purse bar. Description: The surviving fragment represents only the loop from purse bar and frame. It is an elongated oval suspension loop with an ovate section and at its base has expanded collar. The collar may have some zig-zag decoration but it is to worn to be certain. Below the collar would have been a narrow circular shaft, around which the purse bar would have fitted. A complete cast copper alloy looped strap mount (Nicolay Type B) of Roman date (c. AD 43-300). Description: The strap mount consists of a rectangular bar, circular in cross section which is integrally cast to a lipped box. The box is hollow, rectangular in profile and sub-triangular in cross-section with four raised ridges along its top. Its base extends into a down-tuned lip, the bar extending from its short sides. A complete tombac (copper-zinc alloy) buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1690 - 1720. Description: The buckle frame is sub-rectangular with rounded corners and a D-shaped section. The frame is drilled for a separate spindle which holds in place the seperate pin and chape.
