An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy pedestal seal matrix dating to the 17th century. Description: The seal matrix is a conical shape with a narrow circular shank which widens at the top to a flat trefoil shaped handle, which is mostly complete although the upper lobe is broken across its width. At the base the matrix widens significantly to accommodate the die which is ovoid.
