A heavily abraded copper-alloy Roman sestertius of Gordian III (AD 238-244), dating to the period AD 241-244 (Reece period 12). Probably IOVI STATOR, S C or IOVI STATORI, S C reverse type, depicting Jupiter standing front, head right, holding long sceptre and thunderbolt. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC IV.3, p. 48, nos. 298a, 299a passim. This is probably a light sestertius rather than an as, which has a much smaller module.
Measurements: 27.21mm in diameter, 3.38mm thick and 10.75g in weight.

A worn copper-alloy Roman radiate, probably of Valerian II (AD 256-258), dating to the period AD 256-258 (Reece period 12). [CONSECRATIO] reverse type depicting an Eagle left, head turned right. Mint of Rome. cf. Cunetio no. 690; cf. Gobl no. 260k. The coin is quite base and could be a later copy.
Measurements: 17.64mm in diameter, 1.89mm thick and 2.19g in weight.
