An Iron Age gold quarter stater of the Kent Region / Cantiaci, struckfor Eppillus, c. AD 1-15, Eppillus King type. Obverse: Legend COM.F in a panel across two opposed neck torcs and curvilinear motifs. Reverse: A horse left, EP above, REX below. As ABC (Rudd), p. 42, no. 396. Measurements: 12.5mm in diameter and 1.37g in weight. Discussion: Coin is die linked to type specimen for ABC 396, coin 08.9227 (CCI?).
