A slightly chipped early-medieval gold tremissis of an anonymous 7th century ruler, dating to the period c.AD 640-660. Two emperors type probably dating, North (1994) No. 20, Metcalf no. 79-80.
Obverse: Bust right wearing a pearled diadem and cuirass indicated by dots, legend mostly unclear or nonsense followed possiby by TIE. Reverse: No legend. Stylized figure of Victory enfolding the heads of two small busts. Very pale gold, almost silver in colour. This coin is in very good condition.
Measurments: 12.48mm in diameter, 1.43mm thick and 1.26g in weight.

A post-medeival (Georgian c. 1714-1850) complete gold fob seal with intact intaglio style seal matrix. The fob has a golden handle consisting of a round suspension loop with three tiny pelets at the top and sides and attaching to the top of an openwork frame. The suspension loop attaches to the frame via a small oval join consisting of three concentric wideing ribs. Description: The hoop is slightly distorted and is D-shape in cross section. It is engraved with lettering on a cross-hatched background interspersed with lozenge shaped foliage in the form of four petals within a circle. There is a thin, plain border above and below. The inscription is in black letter script and appears to read 'BISN BAS BEIN'. A distorted, complete gold and garnet finger ring dating to the Roman period, probably the 3rd century AD.
Description: The ring has been compressed, giving it an almost pear-shaped profile but was originally polygonal with a raised bezel. The shoulders are expanded and the bezel section rectangular in shape. The bezel has a tear-shaped garnet, set within cell created from reserve metal. The ring band is made from hammered gold. The metal thickness varies from 0.8mm on the shoulders to 0.5mm on the lower parts of the hoop.

A fragment of probable Iron age torc.
Description: A short length of thick gold alloy wire, which gently curves towards one end. It has been cut at both ends using a chisel or similar implement. The surface shows evidence of hammering and a few light scratches.

A cast faceted gold finger-ring dating to the 15th century.
Description: The loop is now distorted and sub-circular in plan. The interior of the band is plain while the exterior is divided into twelve rectangular sections or facets, each separated by a transverse groove. These facets are engraved with an alternating series of sunbursts (or floral) and more defined folliate decorations, made slightly indistinct through wear. The band is rectangular in form and the gold appears to be of good quality.

A gold composite object, possibly a cap hook, consisting of a domed central 'head' which only partially protrudes from the bowl of a shallow, dish-like base. The underside of the base is a thin, plain gold sheet and is damaged; a small sliver, maybe one sixteenth of the total area of the base, is missing.
