A Medieval gold noble of Henry V (1413-1422), class E / F mule (North 1373 / 1374; Spink 1744 / 1746) dating to the period AD1413-1422, mint: London. Ref: North 1991: 69. The coin is in good condition, with a small crease on one side of the flan. On the obverse there is a pellet at the sword point, a trefoil by the shield, an annulet on hull and a mullet by sword arm characteristic of Class E; the reverse has a trefoil of pellets in one quarter on the reverse, characteristic of Class F. An incomplete gold and gemstone annular brooch of medieval date (c.1200-1350). Description: The brooch is bent at numerous points and so it is not possible to know its original form and whether it lay flat or rose towards the centre. In cross-section, the frame is sub-rectangular, having slightly rounded internal and external edges due to the application of cord-effect wire. An incomplete cast gold and gemstone finger ring of medieval date (c.1200-1400). Description: The ring is formed of a rimmed, sub-oval dish-shaped bezel with four clawed collets which hold a pale blue gemstone. The visible sides of the bezel consist of a convex lower half and a concave upper half which forms a horizontal rim running along the exterior edge of the bezel. A facetted gold ring of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date. Description: The loop is formed from 12 pointed moulded oval segments or petals aligned diagonally to the loop and abutting each other on their sides. The pointed ovals alternate hatched lines in raised rim and incised lines in one plain within raised rim. It is possible this isn't direct decoration but the adhering surface for enamel which is now missing.
