A complete medieval or post-medieval hammered or cast copper-alloy book clasp. The clasp is flat and roughly rectangular narrowing from a wide attatchment end toward the hook end. The object is bent to a 90 degree angle twice along its length fom post depositional damage. At the hook end of the object there is a pair of rectangular lugs immediately behind the blunt rectangular hook which is folded underneath.
