A complete post-medieval trapezoidal double loop cast high tin copper-alloy or pewter buckle with pointed ends dating to c. 1620-1680 (Whitehead 1996, 82). Each loop is trapzoidal in plan and divided by the strap bar either end of which is a pointed lobe. The frame is flat on both faces and the edges are bevelled externally on the upper face. Each end of the buckle is a wide flat poin, one end has an indentaiton from the prasure of the iron pin. A gilt copper alloy circular decorated mount of roman date (c.AD43-410). The Mount is made of three parts the first, the front is slightly conical with a central hole for the second part an iron rivet or connecting rod which attaches the front plate to the third part a backing plate. An even gap between the front and back plate runs around the middle of the stud 1.58mm wide where the material mount was attatched to would have sat. Coin is relatively worn but details is still discernable, Obverse crowned shield emblazoned with lion rampant emerging from the sea. Reverse shows horizontal inscriptionf ZEELANDIA over the date 1769 Measurements: 21.29mm in diameter, 1.27mm thick and 2.04g in weight.

An incomplete copper alloy buckle of Medieval date dating to 1350-1450 AD (Whitehead 1996, 87). The object is an asymmetrical double looped buckle with one sub-oval loop and a separate rectangular strap loop and pin bar. The pin is missing. The object has no obvious facing as both faces are slightly rounded. The object has a mid-green patina and file marks are visible on each face. An incomplete copper alloy double looped spectacle buckle of medieval to post medieval date, c. AD 1350 - 1650 (Whitehead 1996, 54). While the pin is present one of the loops has snapped offand is mostly missing except for a small seciton at the top end. The frame consists of one D-shaped loop and a pin bar with pin remaining. The outer edge of the frame is bevelled and th eback is flat. Measurments: 21.06mm wide, 24.47mm high, 2.73mm thick and 3.75g in weight.

A large plain copper-alloy stud of uncertain date. The stud is very large and has a wide flat head with very slightly sloping sides. The shank is wider by the head and gets narrower towards the pointed end which has now broken away. The use and date of this object is unclear but likely dates to either the roman or post-medieval period based on its even and well produced. Measurements: 22.27mm high, 16.44mm wide (head), 4.91mm (shank), thickness 3.26mm (head) and 8.45g in weight

An incomplete medieval to post-medieval, c.1350-1650 (Whitehead 1996, 44-45) double loop annular buckle. The buckle frame consists of a a D-shaped loop with clear brakes on the oppostide side of the strap bar indicating a second likely symetrical D-shape loop is now missing. The curved part of the frame is hemispherical in cross-section and was shaped by bevelling, while the strap bar is rectangular.in cross-section/. A medieval or post-medieval incomplete small high tin copper alloy spectacle buckle. The buckle is incomplete, only the frame reamins as the the pin is missing. The buckle frame is made of two narrow D-shaped loops joined by the strap bar. The bars which make up the frame are hemispherical in cross section (round at the front and flat on the back), as is the strap bar if slightly thinner. An incomplete cast copper-alloy medieval single loop buckle with integral, forked spacers and buckle plate dating to c.1350-1450 (Whitehead 1996, 36). The frame is missing its composite buckle plate but its pin remains. The buckle frame is a narrow oval lipped on the outside edge for the tongue to rest in. A heavily worn and folded copper alloy jetton or token of uncertain type, dating between 1200-1699 The jetton has been heaivly worn and folded down the middle, with an extra fold on one of the sides of the token. A small crack is at the bottom of the jetton. The jetton is a light green all over indicative of copper alloy patination. The legend and device of the jetton are unclear due to wear, the internal face may have a crown in its central device. measurements: 25.03mm in diameter, 1.15mm thick and 2.10g in weight.
