Cast late Iron Age Thurrock type potin / cast bronze unit of the Cantiaci. Degraded head of apolo left, degraded bull obverse. Coin design is highly degraded and signficant casting sprue remains. ABC type 132 (BMC 663-65).

The incomplete head of a Roman copper alloy heavyweight crossbow brooch dating to the mid 4th century. Keller type K4 ( Keller 1971 Type4, cited from Hattatt 1987, 285-287).. Of the full brooch only one of the integral 'wings' in the form of a rounded bar terminating in collared biconical knob, the riverted central knob of a similar design to the arm terminal and a stub of the bow remains. The brooch head is a mottled grey-brown covered in light green patinaiton.
Measurements: 21.2mm long, 34.1mm, 20.7mm in height, arm is 6.9mm thick. 27.42g in weight.

A post medieval copper alloy farthing token issued by William Adcock in Hythe, Kent. 1657. Obverse has date in centre with rose above and below surrounded by beaded border and reverse has central initials? A.W.E, surrounded by beaded border and legend (Dickinson and Williams 1986, 83). This token has substantial wearing across parts of it surface but the detail remains sharp over most of the surface.

Copper alloy radiate of unkown ruler AD260-275, Reese period 13. Very worn and bust only just viisble. Radiate bust right. Obverse just visible as figure centre with arms outstretched holding unknown items, small size suggest 260-275 date.

A large complete cast copper alloy buckle frame of early-medieval date, Marzinzik type 5a (2003, 23). The buckle is sub-D-shaped in plan with a chunky circular section. The tongue is mostly missing from the tongue/strap bar which has substantial iron corrosion around around it, likely remains of the tongue. The strap bar is minimal and and not deeply inset. The outer edge of the frame is thinner than the tongue side. No obvious deocraiton. This buckle frame plate is grey green in colour due to copper alloy patinaiton.

Cast copper alloy medieval or post-medieval double-loop rectangular buckle with straight inside edge and bevelled outside edge and a flat back. The pin bar is trapezoidal in cross-section. The buckle tongue is missing.. The frame can be seen to have been bent extensively upwards up at one end and a small amount in the middle.. This bending may be post-depositional or a product of its function. The buckle plate is mostly light green/turquoise due to copper patination, some dark colour of the original.
Measurements: 24.41mm high, 23.45mm wide, 2.03mm and 4.4g in weight.
