Highly worn and abraded silver, Medieval, penny of Henry II (AD 1154 - AD 1189) Cross and crosslets (Tealby) type (AD 1158 to AD 1180), probably Bust F3 issued AD 1170 - AD 1180. Moneyer and Mint is uncertain. The coin is extensively abraded around its circumference meaning the majoriy of the flan is missing. Measurements: 17.12mm wide, 18.14mm long, 1.01mm thick and 0.97g in weight.

Obv: Facing bust with sceptre, 5 pearl crown, crescent hair curls, [more curls right]. Leg.: '[HE]NR[ICVS.]R/EX'. Rev: voided short cross with quatrefoils in each angle. Leg.: 'R[A]VL.ON.[LV]ND'. Both sides of this coin are very worn much of the detail is obscured. Measurments: 20.91mm in diameter, 0.86mm in thickness and 1.19g in weight.

Obv: Facing bust with sceptre, 5 pearl crown, crescent hair curls, more curls right. Rev: voided short cross with quatrefoils in each angle. Obverse is very worn, particularly the bust and legend from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock. Measurements: 18.88mm, 1.27mm thick and 1.24g in weight.
