A very fine complete silver voided long cross halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272). Minted at Oxford by Willem minted during 1248. Voided long cross class 2b2, North 985/2. Description: Obv.: Crown facing head without sceptre. Leg. 'HENRICVS REX TERCI'. Rev.:Voided long cross with pellets in each quarter. Leg.: 'WIL/LEM/ONO/XON'. Ligation has occured with the ER of TERCI on the obv. and EM and ON of the reverse. Measurments: 17.17mm in diameter, 1.18mm thick and 1.47g in weight.
